I'm just about to wrap up grad school and my library media specialist certification. While I'm planning on being in the classroom setting for the upcoming school year, I'm going to start looking at moving into the library for the 2019-2020 year. I know there are at least a few people floating around who've made a similar change, and I was wondering if you had any advice for things I might get some experience with or brush up on over the next year. Trainings to look into, books to read, that kind of thing. Things that have come up that you wish you'd known more about or been more prepared for. I'm obviously already pretty comfortable with the instructional side of things, and I'm comfortable with many forms of educational technology. Having never interviewed for a school library position, however, I guess I just want to be as prepared as I can be.
