I have a new class this year (grade 2).

I have one student who I have caught twice in a week stealing things from the classroom. And this is not opportunistic stealing it is well planned.

What can I do? Contacted parent and admin already.

Maybe you need to make a reward system with the kid. It seems as though he needs positive role models and a positive consequences. Could you work with the Guidance Counselor and principal?

    Rewards:
    Teacher assistant
    Do something for the principal
Extra recess time for him and the whole class
    Computer time
Visit his former teacher if he liked him/her
