I would like to use more music in my classroom. Right now, I often play quiet classical music in the background. However, I know there are "learning songs" out there (like the days of the week - to the Addams family tune). I just don't know what they are and where to find them! Any ideas?

Dr. Jean. You can order them online or you can go to a school supply story like the School box. They are awesome!

It's very easy to write your own.

I currently have this one available in my store, but I LOVE all of the CDs by them (intelli-tunes/Ron Brown). I agree with the PP about Dr. Jean as well.

As far as finding a specific song for a skill, just google them as needed (i.e. "short vowel song lyrics")

Whenever I taught a new topic I would google "oceans song" or "water cycle song" and tons of things would come up. You can find a song for pretty much anything on google.
