Not sure if this is the right place to even ask, or it may not apply to most of you, or maybe it does, I don't know. Anyway, we have a small private preschool, and looking for some "classroom management software", something that keeps track of attendance, student information, and even tracks payments. (parents pay a monthly fee for preschool) Any suggestions?
The preschool where I did several practiums and part of my student teaching used procare. It was really nice and seemed to do everything you need it to do. Here is a link if you want to take a look. http://www.procaresoftware.com
we are getting genesis here too, how do you like it? I am being trained next week, and then I am going to pass on that training to the staff at my school. We met with the rep a couple of weeks ago and worked on the report cards, It was really good, because she had a couple of samples that they use - I liked them, one was fairlawn I think.. maybe not fairlawn, somewhere up north.
I tried googling Genesis software, but it seems to be a common name so can't figure out which one you may have meant. Do you know their website? ----- The Renweb looks nice, but too expensive for us at this point. ----- Procare looks promising, looking into it now. ----- Any other suggestions? (this is for a preschool)
Class Dojo!! Highly recommend it! You can use it from your computer / laptop but also on your phone as an app. You can have both running simultaneously. You can use it for attendance, classroom management and participation. At the high school level I just it for participation / engagement and classroom management and it worked great.
