What types of responses are they looking for with this questions? I also feel as if my answer is lacking something. TIA!
I think your reponse will depend on what the specific question is. Typically they want to see that you have a management system, an answer to specific scenarios that will come up in your classroom, and are also willing to align your classroom management with the system adopted by the school or district.
They want to know that you can handle problems in your classroom without constantly needing an administrator to step in.
I agree that they want to hear that you have a plan in place that doesn't require administrative support. But they also want to know that you know when to contact and use administrative support.
