Pet could be something about the class mascot.
    Breakfast of Champions helper?
Attendance monitor could be the statistician.
You could make others coaches. Technology coach. Library coach.

I think that I'd find it difficult doling out so many jobs. Do you change kids every week or more often? I plan to have a star of the week. They will be the line leader, gardener, teacher's helper, trash patroller, and pet caretaker (if and when we get one). If a child's birthday falls during that week then they will be the star of the week. Our school is tiny, so errand running is a short distance.
If plan A doesn't work, I'll try plan B. I'm just trying to prevent less hassle since this is my first experience.

I have to agree with you, all these things would drive me crazy. My student of the week takes care of all of these jobs for me. If it is a two person job, I let him/her pick someone to help.
