Have any of you been treated for dry eye?? I have one eye that constantly waters from the time I get up in the morning through about mid-afternoon. It is very annoying and has been going on for a very long time. It looks as if I'm crying at times but in just one eye . I am not sure if it is sinus related or possibly dry eye. I figured if it were an allergy both eyes would be watery and itchy.

    Any ideas or suggestions????

I have that in both eyes. People are always asking why I am crying but it is my sinus. My doctor gave me some drops but they burn so much that I rarely use them.

I vote for it might be an allergy. When my allergies act up sometimes it is only in one eye.

I suffer from a lot of sinus infections so that is what I was thinking may be the cause. It is the eye that is on the same side I generally have my sinus infection on.
    Do the drops help???

Do your eyes itch Jaime, or just water?

Sometimes itch sometimes water. And I used to have a lot of sinus infections, until I started getting allergy shots and taking allergy meds.

The drops do help but they do burn a lot when you first put them in.

I have the same problem--one eye tears a lot. My problem is that I wear eye make-up and one eye is bald about an hour after I put it on-even waterproof. My doctor told me to use an otc artificial tears, but it doesn't help much. Sorry.

My sister got this when she was pregnant. It came along with a Bell's palsy type of thing - half of her face drooped and one eye ran. The palsy went away but the eye drip never did. It's worse when she is eating.

My mom had that and eventually got plugs (I think) put in her tear ducts. Rarely ever happens anymore. Check with your eye doctor. Good luck.
