I'm starting to make out a Christmas list to give to my boyfriend so that he'll have some ideas of what to get me this year. This is what I've got on the list so far.
    1. Monogrammed tote bag from LLBean
    2. lotion, spray, bubble bath, and hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works
    3. new sweaters

What are you all asking for this year? Is there anything you really want?

kinderkids Baby Grands are great. We bought one about 3 years ago. We have a player system on it and it sounds great. They are pricey but they had a great payment plan. I love it, even though I don't play! Mini coopers are cute...I saw a yellow one just yesterday and yellow is my favorite color.

My dream gift is an engagement ring, but I know that that's not going to happen. We'll have been together 4 years in June and he's already said he's been thinking about plans for our anniversary...maybe he'll propose then...haha A girl can dream, right?

Oh how I would love a baby grand piano! Alas, our house is too small for one, and I don't know where the heck I'd get the money for one. Money tree prehaps?

You know what I really want. You all are going to think I'm weird. I would love one of those swiffer vaccum sweepers.

Oh! Those things look pretty cool, huh? I was thinking about buying one. I've got dark green carpets so I spend sooo much time vaccuming because you can see EVERYTHING on them! It would be nice to just take out the swiffer and go over the carpet quick.

My ex-fiance proposed to me on New Years. He took me on a horse and buggy ride and it was snowing really light big flakes. Very romantic. Maybe you should plug that in there.

It's my fantasy money tree. We have a big red oak tree in our backyard and I call that our money tree. Whenever the hubby asks where we are getting money for something, I tell him the money tree outback;).

An engagement ring would be perfect, wouldn't it? :)
I tell him all the time that I'm not in a HUGE hurry to walk down the aisle (I'm only 23) but that I want to know for sure that we're on the same page about where our relationship is headed.

I want one for our tile floors. I hate sweeping 6 times a day with the kids in my house. I would rather vaccum it, but I don't like using a regular vaccum on it. All it does is spit the dirt out the other end.

Wow. That is such a romantic way to propose. My friend's husband took her on a boat ride in Newport, RI and proposed to her out on the water at sunset. Then, when they got back to her parents' house, they had champagne ready to celebrate...good thing she said yes! haha

One year my husband got me a gift certificate for a massage at a day spa. That was a wonderful gift. My husband doesn't give the best backrubs. He tries, but he's really no good.

Want to know how my hubby proposed (this is hicktown romantic for ya)? He proposed to me while I was working at the checkout at the local college Walmart! Woooeeeee! Now imagine the look on my face after having been proposed to the other time before that.

I give him credit for trying.

Jen - Rule #1 about gifts: If it plugs into an electrical outlet, it's not a gift!!

It took a while, but my husband finally understands that rule. :)

When my husband and I were dating I was kind of bothering him for a diamond. Dropping lots of hints and such...so the smarty pants gave me a diamond in a zip-lock baggie for my birthday. That was not exactly what I had in mind
He said he would propose to me when he was good and ready...it only took him a few months after that to do it...............

I would also love some hooker boots, for lack of a better term. Meaning, boots with heels that go up to my knees. Some black ones to wear with skirts.

Anyone around here have those storage bags that you can store clothes in and suck the air out of? Those would be nice. We have such little storage space.

I love Christmas time! It's a special feeling in the malls & I love to shop! Years ago, my boyfriend & I exchanged a big list of everything we like so that when Christmas, birthdays, Valentine's Day, etc. rolls around, we already have the list. In fact, it's been several years now, I think we should exchange updated lists.

This year, I really want a Dell laptop.

Jen I have used them and really don't like them. Air sneaks in and the zippers don't hold up really well. I bought mine and paid a lot for them. Maybe there are different brands and some are better than others.

Oh, how I would also love a new computer. We have a laptop, but currently it is being used as our pc and it sucks for that purpose. I would love a normal PC and use the laptop for traveling.

I have an HP laptop that I got for my birthday last year. I think my boyfriend paid like $1200 for it so the Dell ones are probably quite a bit cheaper. I use it as my primary computer because my boyfriend is constantly on his. He's got a Dell.

My boyfriend wants to get me a Swiss Army knife for Christmas. But then again his whole family feel it's vital to carry one. But he's also mentioned other things not as practical. I still love him.

I want a new digital camera and laminate hard wood floors. We have the "builder grade" carpet (aka cheap stuff) and I think having some new floors will make it look better. I'll probably just get the camera though :)

    on the subject of proposals.

I have the ultimate unromantic who proposed to me! Has any one watched the Rocky movies? Do you remember what Rocky said to Adrian? Thats how my husband proposed to me! I didn't even know he was reciting form the movie. I just thought he was wierd. I don't even know the exact words, just know that last time we saw the movie, I heard the words. :crosseyed
