What are some things the kids can make for mom and dad to give as Christmas gifts? I teach 1 and 2 yr olds.
    Thanks

For my own infant son, I am making ornaments for family. Painting his hand and then putting a hand print on an ornament. But anything handprint related will be appreciated!

You could make up a batch of cinnamon ornaments, they would have fun rolling out the dough, using the cookie cutter, then "decorating" them.

My 2-4 yr olds will pour melted chocolate onto a bunch of pretzels and put sprinkles on them. Then I will place them in a plastic baggy and add a tag (that the kids have made) and ribbon.

It's not something they have made, but I take their picture and go to CVS and put a pretty border around it.

I do a handprint thing either for Mother's Day or Christmas -- I'm not sure which it'll be this year.

Parents love photos of their kids involved in classroom activites. You could frame them too. I've done ones with little jigsaw puzzles pieces formed (glued) in a circle. Spay paint forest green, add poms poms (small) to make berries.
