    God's Blessings to All! :)

I am wondering if anyone knew of any upbeat Christian music (for adults) that they like?

    Thank you!

Since I can't afford to buy CDs anymore I don't have any recent releases! However, a few weeks ago I found a great 2-CD set at Goodwill called Wow Hits 2003. What a find. Every song is by a different artist. I know they release a new one of these every year. I absolutely love Steven Curtis Chapman and I like Michael W. Smith, especially his song Above All. There is an old 4 Him Christmas CD that is my favorite for Christmas. There are songs by Caedmon's Call and Rebecca St. James I like, too, but I don't know the titles. I sang in church for many years and to me music is praying twice!

Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Jars of Clay, Shane and Shane (my favorite), Caedmon's Call, Matthew West... I could go on and on... :)

Have any of you watched God or the Girl? It's on tonight on some cable channel, I forget which. I watched all the back episodes this afternoon in a marathon. I like it.

4 different young men who are at the point where they have to decide if they will enter the seminary or not. It is treated very seriously as they confront their calls to ministry or marriage.

Newsboys and DC Talk are fun. Michael Card and Ray Boltz are a little more reflective, but they do great story songs. Jennifer Knapp, Burlap to Cashmere, Third Day. (I love Casting Crowns and Jars of Clay too!)

My favorite collections have already been mentioned: the WOW CD's, and there are many of them.

Glad you've already found some you like :)

    Christian CD music

    Jeremy Camp
    Shawn McDonald
    Todd Agnew

These three I found on Itunes and have been a tremendous help since my wife left me last February. THeir upbeat message reminds me that God is always here with me, and that I am loved.

Those are all good artists mentioned. I also like Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band... those are more p&w type, Salvador, The Katinas, Michael W. Smith, the WOW CD's are really good. You can try Caedmon's Call, too.
