In my school it is the 'norm' to give gifts to our class parents, but I have a parent (outside ) of my class parents who is wonderful! She has done sooooo much for me (im a first year) in terms of making me feel welcome, buying me ANYTHING that i needed for the room, Chrstismas tree, Easile, Holiday gifts for the kids and for me. I feel that during the holidays i should get her a little something, do you thiknk that i would be openining a can of worms by giving this one mom something and not my other non class mom's anything?!
I am in Australia and I regularly give parents who have helped a lot a small thank you gift. I give soap etc from places like the Body shop or Red Earth (natural- organic)types.
