I have tried multiple times to take the Chemistry CSET. I have failed all of them. I am taking a very basic Chemistry 100 class and getting a C. I want to take Chemistry 101 and 102 but I am worried about passing them with just a C grade. Should I give up on chemistry? I plan to take the Chemistry CSET again after I finish Chemistry 101 and 102. Any suggestions would be welcome.

If you like chemistry, I would personally not give up. As far as suggestions for study aides I used an AP chemistry study guide, homework helpers, and the self teaching guide to pass the praxis chem test. It also took me a few tris but I passed. I would also suggest searching the internet for specific topics you struggled with. There is a wealth of info out there.

This is probably a controversial opinion, but I would say yes, give up on chemistry. I would be concerned about someone teaching chemistry who struggled to get a C in a very basic class.
