My middle school is implementing CHAMPs, a proactive and positve approach to classroom management. I and a few other teachers were sent on a 3 day workshop last year and now we have to present it to the faculty when we go back for prep. week. Has anyone used this classroom mgt. plan and if so, how well did it work?

I am reserving my opinion until I have spoken to others that have used it and what they thought of it. Thanks for your imput.

When it is used consistently, it has been very effective in our schools.

Thanks for your imput. If you want to add anything else, I'd love to hear it.

We've used it school-wide for close to 10 years. We just had a refresher course Thursday since we've had new people since our last official training.

I love CHAMPs!! I think some people think I work for the company. LOL

I tried using that system, but it did not work for me as a kindergarten teacher. It's geared more for the higher grades.
