    Hi there!

I am a music teacher in the state of Texas looking to take my certification test for Mathematics 4-8 and ESL. I would really like to do well on my test the first time around. I am looking for study programs that will help me towards my goal. I have heard great things about each program but I would really appreciate any honest feedback about the programs.

It seems that Certify Teachers has a leg up on 240 Tutoring by providing different content from test vs quizzes and providing vocab terms. Otherwise, I see that both programs help you go in depth with the competencies/modules that are being provided.

I am listing the link to TAMU's ESL Prep course. I personally believe it would be money well spent, and I think I remember seeing somewhere that you can get at least a partial tuition reimbursement for taking the course and gaining your certificate.

I have absolutely no input on the math portion of your question. I am in NJ, and to become certified to teach ESL here requires 15 graduate credits, so the TAMU program seems quite reasonable to me.
