I attempted centers once and did not finish the year with them. So, I'm trying again.

We have 3 classes. I teach English, Science and Social Studies, another teacher has reading, the 3rd has Math. I teach 60 min of ELA, and 30 of Science or S.S.

I was thinking that since I have each class for 90 minutes the easiest thing would be to have the centers free choice, but for a "when you're done" activity. I have seen a lot of great ideas, but most of them are for Math and Reading centers. Can any of you give me some suggestions or activities? Thanks

Are you looking for ideas on science and social studies centers? If you type Laura Candler into Google, she has creative ideas for all subjects. I know she has a microscope printable... I have three in my room, so I use it and the students enjoy looking at the fine details of various objects.
