    Hi,
Does anyone have any good suggestions for any CD that is out there to teach addition and subtraction skills? Does Dr. Jean have anything for this? :thanks:

    The Rap!

I know there is a multiplication rap CD (made for kids) that can be found at any teacher store. I'm sure there is one for addition and subtractions as well. There's states and capitals too ;)

Hooked on Math is a program with tapes/CD's similar to Hooked on Phonics. The tapes start with the 0 facts on addition and proceed from there. (The kids I've worked with haven't really been past the first tape, though!)

I used a music CD when I taught 1st & 2nd and it was amazing to me how that the two students, that had the biggest mental blocks in math, were totally excited about the music and learned thier facts!
I'm sorry, I don't remember the title though...I left it for the next teacher.
