Does anyone know a store or vendor that sales reasonably priced cassette players for me to use in a listening center. Mine just busted and I am looking for a replacement that first graders could operate pretty easily and that headphones plug into. thanks.

I bought 4 cassette players at Wal-Mart for $21 a piece. They are actually "recorders" but work as players too, of course. They did NOT come with head phones, which were about $4 at Wal-Mart.

I looked ALL OVER and that was the best I could find. However, I like the size and the buttons are easy to push. I thought about getting more, but that seemed like plenty of money to spend!!

Check thrift stores. I also put a parent request for old tape recorders on my website, as someone probably has them in their garage or something!
