No, you will not be blacklisted. It was both professional and courteous of you to send the e-mail and follow up with the phone call. Prospects not showing up without any explanation would guarantee that no additional consideration would be given. The number of people not showing up for interviews is amazing especially when you talked with them the day before and set up a time.

I had five interviews lined up on the same day and three more the next day (where there was a teacher shortage and I was only going to be in town for 2 days). I was offered a job on the spot at my second interview, so I had to cancel all the others. They were cool about it. However, that may have been common at the time!
