I interviewed for a Kindergarten position last week and I heard back today that they want me to come in for a second interview tomorrow. I was not instructed to bring a lesson or really what to expect. All the secretary said was that he (the principal) wanted to make sure I haven't signed a contract yet (since I have to tell my current school if I am re-signing by Wednesday).

What should I expect from this interview? I met with the principal and one of the Kinder teachers last week. I am coming prepared with a lesson just in case, but I am not sure what else to expect!

    Thank you!

    Hi mkbren,

First congrats for your second round. As per your post it seems that they call you just for the formalities part. Don't think too much and go ahead. Look everybody willing to have a skilled one. So they call just because you make impression in first meet.

    Good luck.

    Congrats!
As for what to expect, it can vary greatly. Just brush up on interview questions!

I would be prepared for a formal interview and also to meet with the rest of the K team. However, it might be as simple as going in to sign a contract.

    Congrats!
I can't imagine that they would ask you to do lesson without prepping you.

My guess would be to meet the team or other staff members.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! It was just a meeting with the principal, where he kind of explored the questions he asked me before more deeply. He just wanted to make sure that the person he chose was going to be a good fit. I got the job :) I am very excited!
