Looking for some ideas for middle school special ed. on distinguishing between days, months, weeks, and years. Class has trouble discriminating between each one and understanding the different time frames. Very visual based learners. Thanks!
Are they very low functioning? Can you make reference sheets that describe them? List the days, weeks, months, on each of them and add the time frames. You can laminate them and then go over them during morning meeting or refer to them throughout the day. My students are very low functioning so we just do the calendar in the morning and I really don't expect that they will every memorize any of that.
