    I saw this acronym used in a posting the other day, and don't remember who used it. I know it pertains to writing, and remember thinking at the time that I would love to use it in class. I googled it & all I got was coffee cups, lol. Help, please!

    I've also seen COPS, but I don't remember what the O stands for.....

    C = Capital letters
    U = Usage and grammar
    P = Punctuation
    S = Spelling

    I found the anchor chart on Pintrest.

    The O in COPS is organization. COPS is an Orton-Gillingham thing.

    I used MUGS for mechanics, usage, grammar, and sensory language for fourth grade STAAR writing.
