Buddy Ideas

I teach 5th grade and we are meeting with our 2nd grade buddies tomorrow. I'm wondering if anyone has any quick (20min) activities that we can do tomorrow?

 

why not make holiday cards?

 

or a list of what I want for Christmas?

 

Big kids read to little ones, do MadLibs together, play board games

 

Read aloud a winter poem, then illustrate it with chalk on dark blue paper. Use something sparkly (glitter glue?) for snowflakes.

 

Thanks for the quick ideas. I can't do anything Christmas related as I teach in a urban area and have a multitude of religions in my classroom. I really liked the winter poem with chalk idea! Thank you!
