When I did my student teaching, I remember a teacher talking about a certain type of "brain exercises" her students did. Does anyone know what she might have been talking about? I would contact her, but she doesn't teach at the same school now. After a lesson, she would have the kids stand up and do some exercises. They weren't random, though. The exercises were designed to help the kids refocus and refresh thier minds and bodies. They did things like twirling and toe touching. She mentioned that many of these moves had the kids to touch, for example, their left toe using their right hand. They were supposed to be especially helpful to kids with ADD. I saw her class practice them one day, but that's all I can remember about them. Does anyone know what this routine might be called?
