Can anyone recommend any good books with dialogue that have "popsicle puppets" to go with them?

I know three little pigs is a good one and I am sure I can find a printable online to staple to a Popsicle stick so the kids can practice.

Any other good ideas? I tried this two weeks ago and my kids LOVED it!

I would think that any fairy tale would be easy to find reproducibles.

Can you have students create the puppets for different readers' theater scripts?

Frog and Toad maybe a bit hard for my students.

I will look into more fairy tales.

Try Readers' Theater...you can find a reader's script for most fairy tales. There is even a book of fairy tale reader's theater published by either teachercreatedresources or evanmoor. I saw it recently looking for sixth grade materials, but it was for 1st grade.

I also use reading a-z for reader's scripts. Reading a-z has many low level reader theater scripts.
