I'm wanting to get 1-2 books for two classrooms, but I don't know where to begin to look for them.

So, Kindergarten teachers what is your favorite books? Also, where are good websites to find/order them? Thank you :)

Any "Elephant and Piggie" or "Pigeon" books by Mo Willems I purchase a lot of books through Amazon. The prices are great.

I love Frank Asch's "Bear" books!! and the Chicka-Chicka books are perennial faves.

    The Empty Pot by Demi
The Story About Ping by Marjorie Flack
    Any Dr. Seuss
    Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

Quality hardcovers are very, very welcome. They are easier to handle for read-alouds, and more durable when children are using and handling them.
