I have a third grade girl in my class who has started showing an interest in becoming a teacher. She asks me all kinds of questions about what it's like to be a teacher, and she asked me today if I had any books for kids about being a teacher. Unfortunately, I'm not even sure if books like that exist. Does anybody happen to know of any? I'd love to find some at the library for her if possible.

How sweet! I use to teach 3rd grade and remember a student like this.

I would suggest literature books where the main character or hero is a teacher. Because of Mr. Terupt is a good one--although it might be more 4th grade material. Here is a good website of teacher books where they are heroes.
