We are going to be talking about feelings, and I know for angry/mad I am going to read "When Sophie Gets Angry, Really, Really Angy" and I was just wondering if you had other ideas for books to read for other emotions? My mind is blank at the moment. :thanks:

Jaime Lee Curtis' books are good about describing feelings. I got them at Kohls department store when they were 5$. You can get them anywhere, tho. I've gotten a few from scholastic as well,
one was called "When I get angry" also the Mercer Mayer books are good, "Sometimes I get so mad" is one. Which feelings are you looking for? :)

Doesn't Todd Parr have a book about feelings, too?

    (I love his books!)

Sesame Street has a book I THINK it is title Happy Sad Grouchy Glad (It is at school, so I can't remember specifically). It rhymes and is cute, and my kids enjoyed it.

Thank you for all the ideas! I also found some books on feelings that were very kid appropriate at Goodwill for 30 cents each!
