What do you use to organize your classroom library? I have seen awesome libraries online with fun colored baskets that help keep all of those books organized but I can't seem to find something workable anywhere! Everything I have found is either too expensive or not the right size for picture books. Anyone have ideas of where to look for book baskets?

I get mine from the dollar store. I'm just not going to spend a lot on classroom supplies out of my own money.

You can also check Ikea, Target...

I bought dishwasher tubs from Target. I think they were around $1.99 or $2.99 each. As much as I'd like colorful baskets, I refuse to pay the price of them. Plus, the dishwasher tubs hold a ton of books, which I need since my library is quite large.

I use the clear plastic shoe boxes. After 7 years I have one had to replace 2 or three out of the 30 or so that I have.

I bought bins from Big Lots. They were $3 each. I used to use some from Dollar Tree, but these are MUCH sturdier! I just saw some the other day.

Last year Target had very nice ones in the dollar section for $2.50 each.

I bought some nice bins 5 or 6 years ago in the "college" section they usually have set up near the end of the summer at Target. They were plastic bins with metal handles and they were tall enough that picture books could stand up straight. Over the years only 1 has broken but my library has grown so much. I wish now I had chosen something more "generic" because of course they don't carry that particular style anymore.

THANK YOU for this link! I haven't seen these at my local dollar tree but they are just what I wanted... cheap and nice looking! I love that they have free in store pick up as well. Those ones from Really Good Stuff are awesome too.... but yikes at the price!

I use plastic dish tubs and some sterilite baskets I bought at Target and/or Walmart - I've seen them at both. I used to use the ones at DollarTree, but they don't hold up.

I use the clear plastic shoe boxes, but most of what I have are chapter books.

Not a problem! I just keep telling myself that I can justify purchasing the baskets from Really Good Stuff for the 2014-2015 school year if I make sure to put away money for them.
