EDIT: THIS IS AN OLD POST. It was revived by a spammer. But some cool people decided to continue the discussion. So, let's help Silver out with HER wedding, now!!

This is for my bridesmaid dress, fyi and they will all be teacup length.

    Option 1:

Option 2: May be ordered all in one color and not two toned
    [IMG]

I already tried the top two on and both looked great on me. The bride likes one of them better while I like the other one way better. What do you guys think?

Option 3: Just found this online and emailed it to the bride
    [IMG]

All dresses will be in teal, which is actually very pretty in real life.

Hahaha, you guys are a big help!!! :p

I like all three, so it's hard for me to choose. There was a fourth one but I can't find it online but it is a gorgeous halter dress.

I also like all three because they make my small chest look good. :p

Where is the wedding? I would say #1, just because my grandmother managed to pass on to me her belief that women should not wear strapless dresses in a church wedding without a shawl or jacket covering their shoulders at least a little.

Didn't you say one of the girls was bigger? If so, then I'd go with number 2. Number one cuts the arms at a not-very-flattering place if they have any fat on them at all. Even not in a church, though, I would not feel comfortable wearing something strapless, though, so maybe look and see if you can find a wrap with it, at least for the ceremony.

Number 3 looks like a prom or Homecoming dress to me, and looks very high school-ish.

Even though the lengths are similar, I don't think the fuller skirt on #2 will not be as flattering to any bridesmaids that may be fuller-figured.

All of them are pretty, but I think #3 is beautiful.

I like #1 for the same reason as Lynn K., fancier :)

Miss Celia, the wedding will be in a cute, rustic barn, behind a restaurant in this cute small town. It's a spring wedding, and it's pretty low key. The bride's dress is also strapless.

The other bridesmaid who is bigger said she owns a dress just like number one, so she said it should be fine.

Hmm, I didn't think number 3 looks prom like. pooo.... maybe in a different color??

I'll let the bride know that number 1 is winning. :D That was her favorite one. Mine was number two. The one in the picture is the shorter length, but the teacup length was adorable.

Ohh I did not see before that they would be tea length... in that case I probably favor #2. I like all of them better than the dress in the other thread, and think you can't really go wrong with one of these.

Oh, me too!!! I was just happy that we were done, though. And then we make a trip to a bridal shop and we found three dresses that we all liked better. Sigh..... the bridesmaids liked number two the best. But the bride liked number 1. I told the bride to just pick number one, but she wants us to be happy. Blerg. So, she wants me to pick my top favorite three and submit them. She's too sweet!!! She's even paying for our dresses!!!!!!

I'm not a fan of stapless dresses.

In my experience, the women wearing them tend to spend more time yanking them back into place than enjoying themselves. No matter how lovely they look in the group picture, most of the candids will show a bridesmaid pulling her dress into place.

All 3 are pretty (and I'm still a fan of teal) but I would be more comfortable in #1.

Ha! Same with my granny and my mom insisted that I have shawls for my bridesmaids since they had spaghetti strap dresses. Is it usually in warmer climates they have short dresses for bridesmaids? I don't think this would go over well in my family here in NY.

I think they're all pretty, but I like #2 the best. Of course, I like it being two-toned, too.

I couldn't wear any of those styles. My 40-year-old double-D's wouldn't be able to do strapless, and the top style would be iffy.

I love 1, but 3 is cute, too. I have almost the same dress (1) in black that I wore to a wedding last year, just a touch longer, maybe and it was a modest halter neck. Very comfy- just loved it!

My friends who have had small weddings on the beach did, but they were more like sun dresses, and very appropriate for the beach.

My sister did, but her whole wedding was a disaster, so I wouldn't really use that as an example of good taste or anything.

Most people I've seen have used longer dresses. I did not have a wedding ceremony (just my husband, me, and the justice of the Peace) but if I would have I would have gone with longer dresses with sleeves, or at least shawls, just because most of my friends and family dress more conservatively.

I have been a bridesmaid and we wore knee-length dresses in June at an afternoon church wedding. They were comfortable, and pretty, and more likely to be able to be worn again.. they were actually similar to number 3 here. But if it were my wedding, I would have preferred full length. I think for the setting that Peachyness described for this one, tea length will be adorable.

I like the 1st one, and I would think it would be the most comfortable style if the other girl is curvier. You might actually be able to get away with a bra in that one.

I think tea length will be very nice for this wedding. Knowing my friends, if left to their own devices, they would have chose pants suits or something...

Thinking about decisions like this makes me glad I decided not to have a "real" wedding.

I love them all, but probably #1.

    How long is tea length?

I paid for everything for my maid of honor (we just had one witness each). I guess I feel that's only polite-why would I ask a good friend to drop hundreds of dollars on my party? I let her pick her dress off the rack anywhere she wanted, and then paid for it, her jewelry and her hair. If I had more girls, I would have just worked it in the budget. Let us know which one wins!

Imagine it in a non-pink color! :D I think it's cute, but I am now leaning towards number three. I do like 1, too. But, I slightly like three more.

I like that one, but not sure how it would look in tea length, and in short it looks more like a wedding guest and not a bridesmaid dress.

Although, I do think number one would be nice too. Yes, I don't like the short length at all.

Jem, teacup length is a few inches below the knee.

I've never heard it called "teacup". I've always heard and said "tea length". I guess you learn something new every day!

I don't really love the newest one, especially on a fuller-figured woman. Unless her curves are in exactly the right spot, that little flower thing will be weird looking. Unfortunately, I know that from experience.

Yeah.... I know what you mean. At this point, I don't know if we ARE doing the same dress anymore.
