I'm looking for fun, cute ideas for Black History (K). Any ideas?

I know this post is kinda old... but I've been off-line for awhile. I know this is more for Dr. Kings' birthday, than Black History but... one thing that I do each year is have the children cut out "thought bubbles" from white construction paper. I have them color a picture of what their dream is and then they or I narrate it. Of course, you'll get some that will have cute dreams, like "I have a dream that one day, I'll be a princess." But then you have some that will surprise you, like one student last year wrote "I have a dream that one day, my little brother won't have to take shots." (He had diabetes.)

    Good luck,
    Crystal
