Is there a particular grade level where biographies are a focus? i.e. I know in 5th grade Social Studies, the focus is on things like the American Revolution, learning the states, etc. And in 4th, there is a strong focus on state history. I'm just curious if something like biographies is a focus in any particular grade.

Not that I'm aware of. I think it's more likely that biographies are intertwined in other topics... I teach about important people in my state's history, for example, and could read their biographies then.
