I have to say I am really liking this season. All of the players left are working so hard and there is very little game play so far - people seem very supportive. I love how they are helping Ron with his bad knees. And I LOVE Tara. She is hard core.

This is, IMO, one of the best seasons I've seen so far. My DH said that if Vicky were playing this year, she'd probably end up tripping Ron on his way down the hill.

I was just thinking that - remember how hateful they were when splitting up the teams last season? They are to that point already this season and they still seem pretty friendly. I am sure people will have to start making some tough decisions, but who knows.

I also like Tara. She is in it for the long haul. I like how they have respected the requests of those being voted off, but it is a competition, so it will get real interesting when they split up teams.

Love this season so much better than last. Vicky, Heaba & co. were painful to watch. I'm personally pulling for Kristen for the purple team (even though she totally waterloaded the week she had immunity) This week should be interesting with the split of teams and we get a second episode on Wed night!

It's hard for me to keep up...the show is awfully long at 2 hours at a time...so, I try to "catchup" on the weekend.

I was wondering though...what happened to that young 18 yr. old who was declared the heaviest??? I thought he would have still be here???

I can hardly wait for the finale...everyone looks great on the show and it's nice to see their hard work paying off. :thumb:

Sandra, his idiot partner didn't have his back when they were pleading their case to the house, so the house voted them out. I think at the time it was them and the father/son team.

oh, that's too bad. I was really rooting for the kid.

I hope he's losing weight on his own.

When they showed him at the end of the show, he looked really good! I'm sure he won't be recognized at the finale.

I adore this season! I'm actually watching the Biggest Loser again...the past few seasons I just couldn't "connect" with the players enough to want to keep watching. I actually love all the teams this time! I'm rooting for SO many of them---Tara, Kristen, Blue Team (can't spell their names!), and Brown Team! Gotta love Ron and his son!

So if I don't get my receiver back today or borrow one from my dad, then someone is going to have to post who got voted off tonight for me. :)

I've been watching this season off and on. It is really good. I was sad to see the 18 year old leave as well. i agree with STG though his partner totally bailed on him. Bob the trainer is one of my favorites, I like how he's getting more emotional this season!

The voting isn't until tomorrow! They had to split the show because of the state of the union address. I missed the split.

Are they ever going to go back to NON-Couples Biggest Loser? I think I enjoyed it more when they were just competing for themselves.

I actually think this is going to help to make them all one big team. I mean, Bob always runs his mouth about playing the game, playing the game. I get his point, but I bet he will be singing a different song when it's all his old teammates.

Dane got voted off, which IMHO, was the wrong move. They played into the "don't send home Mike's father" when in fact he has lost the LEAST amount of weight because of his health issues. Dane was right-they all need to be there. Rob(or is it Bob) (Mike's father) said for 40 years at home he couldn't do it-well, in my opinion he isn't now either. Dane was the biggest threat to the black team, and he could have carried the blue team through so many weigh ins. I hope Dane kicks butt at home!!!

I agree, strategically they def. did it wrong! Next week if the blue team is on the chopping block again it could be because they needed someone who could lose more weight (Dane.) Ron won't be able to hold his team above water. I think that move was death for the blue team. (And I do like the blue team..I was just mad when I watched it last night)

Well it was obvious they were still voting on old team lines, too.

I feel really bad for Ronn because he has had gastric bypass, and he works really hard at the ranch too, and his weight is just not coming off. But I agree, I think he is the one that should have gone home.

I thought that the blue team definitely made the wrong decision as Dane was going to give them consistently good numbers, whereas Ron loses very little in terms of percentage each week and is going to hinder them in challenges. Also, I thought that if they really didn't want to vote Ron off they could have voted one of the sisters off.

Since changing teams, they could be thinking further down the road about who it will be easier for them to beat on an individual level. It would make sense then to get rid of Dane now and keep Ron.

Oh, I have TV again so I won't be asking for Survivor updates tonight. ;)

So I'm curious, who is everyone's favorite trainer?

When I started out watching the Biggest Loser years ago, it was Bob. Then, Bob had that season where he made himself a team of lots of big guys and left Jillian with everyone else and I thought that was unfair....so now Jillian is my favorite. Just curious who your favorite trainer is....

Jillian is def my fave. She is the kind of trainer I would want. I think Bob is kind of annoying.

Bob is my favorite, but it was really annoying this week how he just could not get over the contestants' new teams and was crying to them and basically telling them that he was disappointed with his new team. Although, I found it hilarious that they had a video montage with the clips of Bob and each of them throughout the show.

So I just found out that my best friend from high school is auditioning for the Biggest Looser tomorrow in MI! I really really hope she gets it, for so many reasons. I think she's got a real chance, as her personality is hilarious and she's super confident. Although I don't watch the show, so I don't know what kind of people they usually choose. Does anyone know what they usually look for?

Did anyone else cry when Mike gave Aubrey his free groceries? I like him...so I hope he pulls a big number also. This season is so much better then last season. They were so mean on the last one.

I know, I love this season too. I hope they stay cool - looks like next week people are going to flip. I think I might get a little annoyed if people keep whining about splitting the teams. You know what?? When you leave Biggest Loser, you have NO trainer! So suck it up!

I was thinking that if I won that, I would give the groceries back to the food pantry. It would be a nice little treat, but I pay for my groceries every week and I am doing ok.

I barely watch the show. I was playing Combat Flight Simulator while my wife watched it in the other room. Between getting blasted out of the sky by German anti-aircraft fire and '109s, (the War in Europe is not going well. The Germans have taken Liverpool), I would go in and peek at the show.

Why would the give a winner of a challenge groceries? Isn't that why they are on the show in the first place? And how did they keep them from eating the food they were moving around the warehouse? I know for a fact that most of my weight problems stem from over consumption of cereal and I would have been all over those Cheerios.

I also think there was a little bit of "product placement" going on as well.
