    OK, so I wasn't as good as I should have been... the blizzard had me hunkered down, eating everything that didn't eat me first.

    But I still lost half a pound, down to 137.

    So I'm back on the wagon, hoping to hit 135 by next week!

    I had a rough week but I lost a pound! I told my husband that I didn't want any candy for Valentine's day. Let's hope he listens LOL

    Alice, I just came on here to post the exact same thing!!

    I'm happy with half a pound, especially as it's that time of the month. Hoping by next week to be at 130 (1.5 more!).

    Unfortunately, I have no one to give all the candy from my students to...the little things will go inn my prize box, but I'm not sure what I'll do with the boxes of chocolates.

    You could go cold turkey and just throw it all out---better it go to waste than to waist...

    I'm up 1/2 pound. Not surprised because I haven't been keeping a food diary. I'm still down a few pounds overall, but I do want to hit my mini-goal of 129 in the next few weeks. I'll have to really buckle-down and actually diet to get there!

    I am going to freeze my boxes of chocolates! It said unwrapped, with another wrapping, they will keep up to a year!!Then , I think I'll use them to make a "leftover candy" cake sometime! Hate to waste....:)

    I freeze chocolate every Halloween, then take it out a little at a time.

    -.5 this week, kind of disappointed. I fell off the bandwagon with my food journaling, and there were treats everywhere at work. At least I didn't gain! I plan on working out a lot this week, but already know I am eating out twice, once tomorrow, and once Friday.

    I also tossed the candy my students got me. Well, except for the Godiva chocolates :)

    I have been really bad about eating the last few days. I hope that I can get back on the wagon with it. I have to tell myself to go to the gym today, but my dad is up helping dh build a porch so I might skip the gym for today.

    Down 1.9 today...13.1 since 1/6. I'm excited about it, but I wish I could lose it faster! It's hard to keep saying that it needs to come off slowly...I want to lose 10 lbs in week and feel like I've really accomplished something!

    I haven't been to the gym in 4 days since my dad has been up here helping building a porch for us. I'm holding steady though I've been eating horrible lately!

    I didn't do well this weekend, had too much fun!! I'm serious again though. I still haven't weighed in about 4 weeks, but I know I've lost some weight.

    Throw the chocolates and Girl Scout cookies in the bottom of the freezer!!!!

    Down .4 this morning...BUT potluck lunch at school, lots of candy after school, and pizza tonight!Oops.....I will try to get back on the wagon tomorrow...and enjoy today!:)

    Not great compared to previous weeks, but we had professional development and all went out to eat yesterday. PLUS I'm going out to eat today...I guess I'll have to work twice as hard this week!

    Great work! I'm weighing in tomorrow and i'm hoping for at least a pound. Had a busy week with my part time job so didn't get to exercise much. Today and tomorrow I have a bit more time to play around with so I will have no excuses!

    Down a pound, which I am surprised. I only worked out once, but I was also violently ill for 24 hours, spread out over two days. Brings my total to 12 pounds in 6 weeks.

    Going to talk to AAA about the Cancun vacation. Looks more and more like it is a go, talk about motivation. That gives me four months, or about 17 weeks, which could ideally be 25.5-34 pounds, bringing me to my goal. I would have gone from 174 lbs to about either 137 or 128.5 in 6 months.

    Time to step up my game! This thread has really motivated me! I think about typing my weigh in and am determined to do better each week!

    Ug. Still on that dreaded plateau-- 137.5.

    It's been like 2 weeks, and I can't break down to 136.

    Time to get back to school-- it's been a week and a half thanks to snow days and February Break. And it may just be time to do a bit of exercise, as much as I hate the thought!

    I weighed 132 this morning, then after working out (water weight) I weighed 130.5

    So, basically no weight loss since last week, but I'm encouraged. I know my problem is being inconsistent with my food diary.

    Started back with my food diary today and did a couple of kms. on the treadmill (at a faster pace than I ever have before). This thread, and all of your successes, is keeping me going.

    No one has written on here for a few days! How is everyone doing? I'm holding weigh-in results until Saturday, but man am I sore from the elliptical machine!

    According to the scale, I didn't lose anything this week...didn't gain either, so not too bad. BUT...yesterday at the gym I checked my BFI (body fat index) and it has dropped 7% since January 18th. The trainer was, to put it mildly, amazed. She checked it twice because she said the norm was 1 or 2% and that 3 or 4% was great results. To put it in terms easier to understand, at least for me...although the scale only shows a 13 lb total loss since I started, I've actually lost 23 lbs. of fat! The other 10 lbs. is lean muscle gain, which keeps my metabolism up and makes me look and feel better. Not only that, I have Type 2 Diabetes and my blood work from last week showed my A1c level below 7 for the 1st time since I was diagnosed 9 years ago. I have a long way to go, but I'm so excited about the results already...I can see a brand new wardrobe coming this summer if I keep going the way I am!:)

    I stayed the same. So, I am still going to try to not gain, in fact I would eventually like to lose the last 2 pounds...BUT, I did lose 10 in 2 months without really depriving myself! I wish it were muscle-ha ha :)! Good luck to you all-I hope you meet your goals.

    I have been staying the same too. All this snow has me down in the dumps! I'm just glad I havn't gained anything. Back to tracking calories and exercising today!

    These snow storms keep knocking me right off the wagon... all I can do is load up on carbs!!!

    But I'm still a good 8 or so pound ahead of where I was for New Years, so I'm thrilled. I'm climbing right back on the wagon.

    Even if it is "two steps forward, one step back"-- big picture, I'm moving forward.

    That's sounds wonderful!!

    Today's weigh in showed a loss of .4 lbs which is better than I thought it would be. I didn't eat crazy amounts of junk but I didn't really watch my portions or exercise. I blame the weather. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :lol:

    I gained .5 last week. I'm really pretty bummed about it, but its my own fault. First time I've gained since the first of the year.

    I've fallen off of the band wagon. I've quit logging my foods, and only work out twice a week, when it is with my aunt. I need to get back on track with my food journal, and I bought that dang elliptical, so I need to use it!

    I booked my Cancun vacation this past week. We leave July 11. Time to get serious!

    131 - down about 1 pound. My weight is fluctuating, but the trend is downward. I started a 135, so I'm heading in the right direction.

    Congrats to all who lost weight!!!!

    I weighed this morning for the first time in six weeks and have lost 7.5 pounds. I've STARVED, I've worked my BUNS off, I have sweat BLOOD and for just 7..5 in six weeks. Geezzz... ten years ago all I had to do was cut back a little and ten pounds would fall off!!! Seriously, I was dripping wet with sweat this morning after thrity minutes on the eliptical, my face was red for 30 minutes afterward!

    I'm happy to say that I am back on track. Logging everything I put into my mouth, and worked out. I am a little nervous about this weeks weigh-in, I was sick AGAIN and girl scout cookies were in the house
