For those who teach Bible, I am wondering what curriculum you use. Ours is from ACSI, and it was very dry, in my opinion. I don't like it, and I can tell the kids don't. Any suggestions? How do you all teach Bible (those of you who do?). I want my kids to "get it" and most of the time they don't...

I researched a long time until I found one that worked. I was able to integrate the Bible curriculum into the concepts of the classroom. I am not teaching now, and I can't remember the name of it. I will do some brainstorming, and get back to you.

I did find it on the internet. It was about $300, but was worth it.

Have you looked at Group Publishing? I don't remember all the big names in Bible curriculum right now, but when I was director of our children's ministries, Group did have nice things.

We use to use ACSI but I found it very dry also, so I did a lot of research online and finally found Discipleland. They kids and I are really enjoying it. It has big colorful pictures that go along with the story and individual colorful pamphlets that we work on together. The children never use to get excited for Bible time but now they are very eager to start with this new curriculum.

Does anyone have any good sites for older students? I have a horrible time teaching religion and feel I am the worst in the school at it. I need major help!

    I love Group Publishing.
I used their Hands on Bible Curriculum for Sunday School; it was fantastic.

ABeka Bible from Pensacola is nice though I tend to add to it - more pics, hands-on activities, activity pages.
