What's the best markers for writing on chart paper? We make a ton of charts through the year and I always use Mr. Sketch (the smelly kind!) and those work well at first, but run out somewhat quickly (I probably buy 3-4 boxes a year) or fade.

We use Sharpie Flip Chart Markers and they work great with no smearing. The best part is that they don't bleed through even thin chart paper and they last a long time even with the kids using them.

I'm not sure of the brand that I have, but they are flip chart markers that I order through School Specialty company.

    I agree!

The Sharpie flip chart markers are awesome! I used mine all year and I make a lot of charts. They had not run out as of the end of the year!

Ditto. I like the ones that have a chisel tip and a flat barrel. For some reason I write super-neat with those Sharpies

I love Mr. Sketch markers. I have NEVER had a problem with them running out. In fact, I have the same set two years later and they still work. Perhaps I don't write enough charts. :)

I use the mr. sketch markers and have not had a problem with them running out. I think I used 2 sets over the course of the year.

I like the Sharpie Markers too. However, I usually just use plain ole Crayolas.
