Ms. Yi, thanks for the reply! I'm glad to hear. I read some awful reviews of bendaroos and wondered if it was a smear campaign by wikki or if bendaroos were cheaper because they were poor quality. Thanks
Wikki Stix are US made and non-toxic. Bendaroos are produced in China, and have a BBB rating of "F". Wikki Stix also has many more educational guides/suggetions on their website.
bendaroos do not bend as easily as the wikki sticks, and are not as sticks. I have both and greatly prefer the wikki sticks. now WHERE can you get them for 75% off???
I love wikki sitx! A word of advice, make some placemats for them. I just sent 6 large pieces of construction paper though the laminator so when we use the wikki stix in a center, the little bits of wax stay on the placemat and not on the table!
I bought cheap knockoffs. For most practical purposes they work just fine. They were soft and bendable and sticky. I remember wikki stix from my childhood taking some work to stick right if you wanted something to stay in place. But the knockoffs were a bit TOO sticky - I had kind of envisioned re-using activity placemats or something with them, but even though the sticks peeled off just fine for re-use, the mats got totally slimed. Oh well.
I never heard of Bendaroos, and haven't tried out my Wikkis yet, but I'd have to say Wikkis, since I got them for free on freecycle!
