I am graduating in November with my AA in Early childhood education. I am interested in becoming an elementary school teacher and need to know what my next step should be. It is so hard to find out what is required and what I need to do to pursue this career choice.

    Thanks!

The first requirement is a bachelors degree if you want to be a public school teacher. many private schools will hire you with the degree you are receiving.
If you do want to pursue a public school job, here is the FL DOE website to get you started:

    Good luck!

Consult with an admissions office for the cheapest 4 year state school near you. They will have a program in place that will take you through the certification process.
