These were in my newspaper, too. I'd like to banish:

nuclear ('cuz everyone, including the president, seems to pronounce it nucular)

"my bad"--a "cooler" version of "sorry" still doesn't excuse inappropriate behaviour.

I would like to banish "snap". It's used instead of "shoot" or "cool".

I don't ever read a post if they have a bunch of that crap on their post. It takes less time to just type out the words.

I dont know what KWIM is ........... and have no idea that snap means the same as shoot .......... isnt that what you do with a gun .........maybe us Aussies dont pick up on all the words you guys use.

Mind you, i wouldn't mind banishing the word 'ho'. After all, I would take offence if someone went around saying whore all the time, and it means the same thing doesnt it?

"Snap" means the same as "shoot" when "shoot" is used as a substitute for "s***", as in , "Oh, snap, I forgot my essay at home!".

I don't allow my little kids to use "Oh Shoot", so I would tell them that Oh Snap it is not allowed either.

They all annoy me too. I just know that when I get back to school on Monday, my grade 7 and 8 boys will have another new word or two that will drive me "right round the bend".
