I had my baby boy on Sunday evening! We are both healthy and home now. My husband was able to listen to the birth on the phone from Iraq! He will be home for his r&r in a few weeks and meet his baby boy for the first time. I know a lot of us are mothers, and I must say....back labor is AWFUL! Almost makes me want to never do it again!
Absolutely WONDERFUL news! Back Labor???... In a short while you will say...this baby is SOOOO perfect, let's have another. Congratulations, Mommy!
Congrats and a big thanks to your hubby. After I was totally moving around, I forgot any pain due to childbirth and was ready to have another one.
Congratulations and it is soooo cool your husband got to feel part of it! I TOTALLY agree about back labor but as other posters have said, the vivid memory fades. Can you share his name?
Congrats to you and your new family. Glad to hear daddy will soon be home. The pain will soon be forgotton thanks to a severe lack of sleep. Enjoy your little one.
Congrats!!! And I'm so glad hubby was able to be a part of it in some way. And please tell him thank you for his service. My dh is in the National Guard so I know how it can be.
Congrats!!!!! Its so wonderful that daddy got to be a part of it, and even better that he will be home soon to meet his baby boy. I echo the others that say to give him an extra special hug to thank him for all he does and gives up for us. Oh, and give the little one an extra hug as well (though I doubt you need to be asked to do that).
Congratulations!            I do not know what back labor is.
Congratulations! That is WONDERFUL. It has been 4 years....I still remember the back labor. No more babies for me! It's not just the back labor, but remembering it sure reinforces my decision!
I was going to ask what back labor is, but now i"m not sure I want to know. Congrats on your little bundle of boy!
CONGRATULATIONS! Basically, back labor means the baby is facing up towards the mother's pubic bone causing the harder part of their skull to rest on the bony part of mom's spine. OUCH.
Congratulations on the new family addition!!! I am sure that you are already enthralled with him... I was immediately with both of my little ones. Hooray!!!
