hahaha...c'mon...2 newborns Waiting for them to get back from some testing in the car seats...then feed...then send back to nursery to get 3 hours of sleep before they come back
Um, they're not in the room...you should be asleep. Sleep all you can while you're in the hospital. They must be doing really well if they're doing the car seat test already!!!! William was 7 weeks old before they did it with him.
just took 1st shower...feel so much better...another reason why I am up lol, jaime...i'd love to visit there
They put the baby in the car seat and monitor breathing, heart rate and temperature to make sure that the child remembers to breathe and doesn't have any cardiac arythmias while in that position. The rationale is that babies spend a LOT of time in their car seats and other baby things that keep them in a similar position, so they want to make sure that they can handle being in them.
J was 5 weeks when she did the car seat test. Rest up st, it's gonna be a long time before you get to fully sleep up.
That must be why the night nurses in the NICU had the day nurses keep me up when I had RSV my first winter Nice sized babies. Congrats.
