I tried to log in to their site at Flickr using their "Spaces & Places" name as directed, but it doesn't seem to exist. Were you able to get in?

Otherwise, I love the original site you directed us to!

I got in. You have to look under groups and join it to be able to see the pics and messages. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot there yet.

Oh my gosh! The person with the blue scheme, it looks perfect! It is really calming and everything matches!!!!! I don't think that my room could ever look that organized and perfect.

    Thanks or sharing the site!

OH WOW!!! I love seeing how other classrooms are set up. I'm getting help this summer on setting mine up better for my students with autism. The girl who did my ABA training is going to come at the end of summer and help me out! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

That is definitely my dream classroom!!!!

I know, I LOVE that black and blue room! I'm going to see if I can integrate something similar the best I can (bulletin boards and borders, maybe?). That is crazy organized!!

I wish the poster had also included pics of the student desks/tables. Just how big IS that room, anyway?

I know! I was thinking the same thing. I have 30 kids and a room that looks about half that size!!!

Speaking of which, any of you with a smaller room, are you able to have furniture that "juts out" from the walls to make little sections of the room? I feel like I don't have the space to set up bookshelves that run perpendicular to the wall and such like some of the posters on the website do.

Where are you guys seeing the rooms. All I saw was the pink room on the original link. Where do I click to go into more details/pics?

I do actually have a 2-sided bookshelf that juts out. It sets off my library area. It works nicely.
My room is 33x 25 and I have 29 students.
I have been using the classroom designer tool at lakeshorelearning.com all evening trying to come up with a new room arrangement for next year. It's rather frustrating.

I've never heard of this tool! I'm going to check it out right now. :)

I always wonder about the sizes of rooms I envy online too. Like Beth Newingham's, have you seen hers? She has room for so many little areas for kids. I had to give those up when I moved from my cruddy (but roomy) barracks into my new (but smaller) classroom.

Hoot Owl - I don't do the loading of pictures myself, so I couldn't tell you about speed. (I'm lucky I can actually find the pictures, to tell you the truth.)

    Thanks for the link, czacza!

I ordered this book from Amazon the other night and should have it by Tuesday. I can't wait to see all the different ways to decorate a classroom because I would love some new ideas. :)

I think she is referring to "Spaces and Places" by Debbie Diller.
