So obviously I'm going to bring mine....I just have to update it. I'm also going to bring "mini" portfolios to give to each person on the interview panel to keep. I think there's going to be 5 or so from the sound of it and I'm first thing in the morning. Obviously, I'm going to include my resume and brochure. I have a CD I made of a PhotoStory presentation to give them too. My educational philosophy is in my brochure. Other than that I'm at a loss. I have all kinds of things in my portfolio and answers to all kinds of questions. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Something that highlights how you use data to drive instruction, classroom management, differentiation, writing across the curriculum (big with the common core), and building relationships with parents, students, the community.
I got asked to bring one too for an interview on Tuesday. I jsut graduated school and don't have one prepared at all. HELP!! What should I include in mine? I like the idea of "mini" portfolios to use. Question...what do you put them into? I have a nice leather binder for my official portfolio but not sure if you would put the mini ones into the leather ones as well or use something else.
I just chose a few key lessons I had, my resume, my classroom management slides, and a cover -featuring a pic, my name, cert, and class year - into a few report binders I picked up at Walgreens..$2.49 for a 3-pack. This worked well enough; I got the first two jobs I was interviewed for! Good luck!
