Hey everyone! I will be teaching 2nd grade this year (first time in 2nd, having taught 1st for 1 year and k5 for 2). I have 5 long rectangular tables - any ideas on how to arrange them? I was thinking of a U shape, but my room is not wide enough to do that with 5. Any ideas would be appreciated! :D

    That didn't exactly turn out.

I just meant a sort of double horseshoe shape with three in the back and two in the front.

This question is a little different from the original question asked. I teach 1st and I have desk I like to put them together like table for group activities but how to get certain children to do their own work not their neighbors.

Thanks guys for all the ideas! I am hoping our floors will be finished being waxed soon, so I can get in there and start arranging! :thanks:
