I made 500,000 the first round (Spencer let me down!), but made the million the second roud (got really easy questions, in fact the million point question was: True or False - Lake Eries is one of the Great Lakes.) Fun game, it will be a good one to put the kids on next year. You can even let them "cheat" and have a second window open for research, great practice!

This was fun! I have a hard time believing that first graders are expected to know what 1X0 equals though.

Well, the funny thing is that some of the material supposedly for 4th and 5th is taught more in like 5th and 6th, or 6th and 7th.

I like this idea!! Yet when I have Journalism, I'm going to drag in one of my old fourth graders and tell him he can't cheat because he believed he was smarter than a fifth grader last year. :D (Shakes head at thought)

    I cheated!

I got to the 1,000,000 but I choose all the lower grade questions! I was afraid to choose above the third grade! :D
    Thanks for the fun!

Hooray! I got all the way to the end without any cheats! I was lucky, though, and got lots of math questions--the history and geography get me every time (now give me Canadian geography and I could do okay!)

I made it but I did have to wonder what teachers are asking first graders, "what is the maximum number of Thursdays that can occur in a year?"

I played it a lot to see what could be done (answering questions wrong and picking lower grade vs higher grade questions)
    My observations:
1.Those 5th graders don't know all the answers
    2. Pick the higher grades first and go lower as you get them right
    3. choose the boys first as you rise on the list then the girls
When I used these rules I reached the 1,000,000 every time

I realized that choosing 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade questions first made it easier, too! Yet I chose the girls before the boys- I wanted to make sure in the end that I had the great support of Jacob and Kyle. They seem to know a lot on the real show, too. :)
