I like them all, lol! The main thing I don't like about TeacherFileBox is that you can't save to your own computer (guess that saves their copyright, lol! I probably won't renew, either. I love being able to customize stuff on EdHelper, like word searches, etc. (my kiddos love them).
I need to seriously clear out things in 3 rooms in the house (my bedroom, den, & bathroom). I plan to move by summer's end & I'm not waiting to do all this at the last minute!
I have binders and binders or drawings, crafts and paintings that students have given to me over the years. I hang them up around my classroom and after a while I "store" them in binders. Some are very special, but I should defiantly make it a project to go through them and reduce the amount of binders of artwork I have. haha
I am the opposite of a hoarder. I actually enjoy purging things...I just did my closets at home this weekend. Since we are moving into a new building next year, I am in the process of purging things. I had a "free book sale" in my room-and my kids walked out with at least 5 books a piece. Some I kept, but the rest went!
This is funny because my classroom is always a wreck. I once got in trouble by the fire inspector for having too much on the walls. (In my defense, they were things that we had done in class. I couldn't bear to get rid of them.) I always make it a point to invite people over to my house so they can see that I am not a hoarder, and am actually a very clean person. :haha: My house is spotless and my husband says I am OCD. He's never been to my classroom. Currently, I am collecting 2-Liter Bottles for a science experiment. I have about 15 and need about 5 more. They look terrible just lying around.
Mrs. C, The kids LOVED it. Didn't matter if they weren't thrilled with the content of the book-they just took them. Many hunted for beloved books they had read (since I had several copies),and it made my heart smile to see their excitement! PS. They want to know when I am cleaning out my posters.....
