A great school district had posted a few jobs for next school year on their website (no other websites had it) so I didn't see it until after the date they said to send in information. It's still posted on their website and the deadline was two weeks ago. Do you think it's a good idea to send in my info? What would they think?

In our division, jobs are posted until a candidate has been hired. You may want to call the district office and ask to speak to someone in human resources to confirm if the job is still available.

Thanks for the response. In my area, districts usually have jobs posted for a week because so many people apply. I will contact them to see if I can still apply. Most of the jobs were Special ed. jobs so I'm hoping I have a chance....maybe not enough people applied...I don't know. Can't hurt to try! Thanks!

Send it on. They may not like what came through the first time around.
