So, I started my job search way back in February and started applying then. I have since seen a few job offers that I already applied for and that closed afterwards open again a few months later. So my question is, how normal is this? Should I apply again to the position that I already applied to (and never heard back from?) This actually has happened like two or three times. Ugh.
Are you sure it is the same position? I applied and interviewed at a school for anticipated openings for 3rd and 5th grades back in April (I'm out of state so they granted me the interview). Anyway, so when a 5th grade opening came available I emailed the P and let him know I was interested. The position closed and a week after that a 5th grade position opened up so I called the school to ask was it the same position and the secretary told me it was another position. She took down my name again and I emailed the P again. I'm still waiting. I'm hoping that they'll get the picture that I'm interested...and I truly felt they liked me during the interview based on their positive comments and body language. I say apply every time a position is posted...Maybe your persistence will pay off.
