    Hello All,

Into my second week of summer school grad class, and I have an assignment for you!

Please help me find a website, cheatsheet, or book on APA Manual Style references!

I had two books, and they we just absolutely confusing. I used one last year, and my professor made road map signs all over my paper--"NOT APA style!"

It is the type of referencing when you use quotes and repeat what the author says verbatim. Then you list all the references on the last page. That page itself is a monster with 12 heads! Must be in certain order, so many commas, etc. If I get one period out of place, my paper will be only good enough to line the cat's litter box!

Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

    Master Pre-K

Check out the web site Perlla.com, it is a program that you can download (it does cost) but my friend had the same issue in grad school and he got this program and it was nevr again an issue for him.

Type in the info and it will do it for you, then cut and paste it in. No missed commas, or dots that will cause a prof to lose their mind. It is a WONDERFUL thing

Nope we are in EST, but I haven't been sleeping well, so I am often up until 3 am....don't ask. But heck if I am here I will put the notifier on loud and watch tv. Or keep printing off all the free sample lessons I found from History alive and JWalch publishers.....:D

Just click on APA on the left and then it will ask you to type all the information in spaces. when you are done it will make the citation for you and you just have to copy and paste! By the way, Word 2007 has a wonderful reference tab that will keep track of all of your references and make the works cited page for you :)
