The district I just got hired in..and grew up in..has just recently posted more openings. I know they just posted a 2nd grade opening...they just approved a first grade opening, and a 6th grade opening (still in the elementary schools). This district is about 90 miles northwest of Chicago. only about 20 miles from the wisconsin border. If you want more info you could PM me.... They also have a number of middle school positions & high school I believe.
