We are headed to Gulf Shores in July. My girls are 5 and 9, and this will be their first trip to the beach! I’m sure we’ll also take a few smaller weekend trips.
I'm taking a solo road trip to the East Coast of Canada. I've booked some Airbnbs overlooking the ocean and a cottage right on the water. I'm so excited!
Oooo! Me! My college friends and I are going on an adventure to the U.K. for our 'senior trip.' We've had it planned for 10+ years since we graduated college, but the stars have never aligned to allow us to go, but they finally have so we go! I've never been outside the continental United States, actually I've only ever been east of the Mississippi twice, so I'm pretty excited.
We are going to San Francisco. I've never been, but I'm really excited! It seems like a beautiful city with lots to do. This is our plan for next summer. I've never heard of anyone having an awful trip to the East Coast - you'll have an amazing time!
Don't know yet. Possibly Catalina Island...haven't been in a long time. Anyone know if it's changed in the last 5-10 years? The last time I went, I was planning on a fun day, but half or most of the shops & restaurants were closed and it was so boring, we left to go home on an earlier boat ride back.
Williamsport, PA (note the avatar, son #3), Chapel Hill, NC, for son #2, Chicago, for son #1 If I can swing it after that, Croatia...
We haven't made any summer plans. DH and I will both be finished with school by the end of this month, though. My mom is sick (stage IV endometrial cancer), so I'm afraid to make plans. She has been feeling okay lately, which is great. She really wants to go to Gatlinburg one more time, so we are going to see if she wants to go with us there for a few days. Last summer we took two vacations. We did a week-long road trip for our anniversary, then went to the Outer Banks for a week with DSS and his BF. We had planned a trip to Punta Cana for our anniversary, but we had too much going on with selling one house and remodeling another to fly out of the country.
My plans are as follows: - right after school going to Texas for wild hog hunting. - middle of June - beginning of July: going home to Hungary and with my mom I'll also visit Switzerland for 5 days July: solor camping trip (with my dog) Zion National Park and Antelope Valley If have the money maybe fly to Florida again to see my sister and niece Other than that just a lot of camping and fishing by the local lakes and mountains.
I went to the Grand Canyon a month ago. If you're going to the South Rim, and especially if you're camping, check out my video I made about the camping options and basically some tips and suggestions about the South Rim.
I am going to 2 different professional development conferences (one in June and one in August), I will spend a week at the NEA RA, and I will spend a week with my 2 year old nephew. I am hoping to get my husband to agree to at least a weekend somewhere just us away from home...And he says I am overbooking my summer...
Probably spending 4th of July weekend camping in the Great Smoky Mountains. Had thought about going to Philadelphia (my home town) or NYC, but it will probably be far too warm. Mt. Balsam is 5000 feet above sea level and should be delightfully cool.
This is the first summer in a long time that I haven't traveled for PD. Hubby and I are spending our 32nd anniversary in NYC seeing 2 shows. In July, we are going to the Grand Canyon and to Phoenix.
I live in New York City, I highly recommend checking out Battery Park City at some point during your visit. Lot's of free festivals, art galleries, and fashion shows during the month of July (In Battery Park specifically). As for myself. This summer I'm visiting my girlfriend in St.Louis for July the 4th. We're also traveling to Colorado later this August. Then teaching summer school in between. Hope to get some new exciting Vlogs up and posted on my YouTube Channel.
Boulder, CO in June as a family Door County in August with my husband Hopefully Nashville or Chicago with friends too
My mom is still feeling good, so she did want to take a short trip to Gatlinburg. It is one of her favorite places. We are going for three days next week. My DH and I have never been there together, so we are looking forward to it, too.
